Iranian Superleague round 17 best performance: Hamed Haddadi

International Center Hamed Haddadi (218-C-1985, agency: BIG) put on an amazing game in the last round for Palayesh Naft Abadan, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 38-year old player had a double-double of 32 points and 18 rebounds, while his team beat Gorgan (#1, 15-2) 92-83. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Naft Abadan is placed at 3rd position in Iranian Superleague. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Naft Abadan will need more victories to improve their 11-6 record. In the team's last game Haddadi had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Naft Abadan's top player in his first season with the team. Hamed Haddadi averages just after three games 15.3ppg, 11.7rpg and 4.7apg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Montenegrin Marko Perovic (204-C-1992, agency: PEPI SPORT) of Foolad Hormozgan Bandar Abbass. Perovic had a very good evening with 32 points and 9 rebounds. It was enough for Foolad to edge the higher-ranked Averta (#8, 8-8) 85-83. Foolad's 11th position in the standings has not changed. 14 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Foolad managed to get this year. Perovic is a newcomer at Foolad, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Corin Henry (183-PG-1988, agency: BIG) of Mes Kerman (#6). Henry got into 30-points club by scoring 33 points in the last round. He went also for six assists. He was a key player of Kerman, leading his team to a 99-97 win against slightly higher-ranked Mahram (#5, 10-7). Kerman needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 8 lost games. Henry has a great season in Iran. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.2apg (3rd best).
