Iranian Superleague round 11 best performance: Majid Rahimian

International Majid Rahimian had an amazing evening in the last round for AvertaSari, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The player was the main contributor (27 points, four rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Kerman (5-5) 81-79. Averta is placed at 7th position in Iranian Superleague. Averta is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-5 record. Rahimian turned to be Averta's top player in his first season with the team. Majid Rahimian averages this season 19.4ppg and 5.3rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Montenegrin Marko Perovic (204-C-1992, agency: PEPI SPORT) of Sanaye Poshtiban Hormozgan Bandar Abbass. Perovic had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Sanaye lost that game 87-101 to the higher-ranked Kalleh (#5, 7-4). Sanaye are still at the very bottom. 11 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Perovic is a newcomer at Sanaye, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Corin Henry (183-PG-1988, agency: BIG) of Mes Kerman (#8). Henry showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Henry's great performance the Kerman lost 79-81 to Averta (5-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Kerman needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 5 victories and 5 lost games. Henry has a very solid season. In 2 games in Iran he scored 15.0ppg.
