Anosike's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

32-year old NGR-USAn power forward O.D. Anosike (203-F/C-1991) had a very impressive game in the last round for Mahram Tehran and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had a double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds, while his team outclassed Raad (#11, 1-9) with 28-point margin 92-64. Mahram maintains the 4th position in Iranian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Mahram will need more victories to improve their 6-4 record. Anosike turned to be Mahram's top player in his first season with the team. Siena College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Anosike is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 10.4rpg) and averages solid 54.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Parrish Petty (185-PG-1988). He is American-Guinea-Bissau guard in his first season at Mahram. In the last game Petty recorded impressive 25 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course together with Anosike he helped Mahram Tehran with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Raad (#11, 1-9) 92-64. Mahram's 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 6-4 record is not bad at all. Petty is a newcomer at Mahram and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. Former University of Texas Rio Grande Valley star Petty is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Fran Pilepic (194-G/F-1989) of Sanaat Mes Rafsanjan (#9). Pilepic scored 26 points and passed seven assists. Despite Pilepic's great performance Rafsanjan lost 74-84 to the higher-ranked Kalleh (#5, 6-4). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Rafsanjan ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 6 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Pilepic could help Rafsanjan to bring them higher in the standings. Pilepic has a great season in Iran. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.6ppg (7th best) and assists with 4.0apg (6th best). He also has FGP: 56.3% and 3PT: 44.4%.
