Stevens' 31-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

29-year old American point guard Jordan Stevens (182-PG-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Tabiat and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had the game-high 31 points adding seven rebounds and two assists for Tabiat in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Sanaye (#12, 0-7) with 30-point margin 86-56. It allowed Tabiat to take over top position in the Iranian league. Tabiat have a solid 6-1 record. In the team's last game Stevens had a remarkable 73.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Tabiat's top player in his first season with the team. Midwestern State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Stevens is league's best scorer averaging so far 31.3ppg. Stevens is in league's top in and averages solid 62.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Ali Vernosafadarani of Sanaat Mes Rafsanjan. He is a in his 3rd season at Rafsanjan. In the last game Vernosafadarani recorded impressive 26 points and 7 rebounds. Of course he led Rafsanjan to another comfortable win 99-85 over the lower-ranked Limondis (#10, 2-5) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Rafsanjan to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 4-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Vernosafadarani is one of the most experienced players at Rafsanjan and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Mohammad Jamshidi (199-SF-1991, agency: BIG) of Mahram Tehran (#5). Jamshidi got into 30-points club by scoring 36 points in the last round. He was a key player of Mahram, leading his team to a 89-86 win against slightly lower-ranked Kalleh (#7, 3-4). Mahram needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 2 lost games. Jamshidi has a great season in Iran. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 27.7ppg (2nd best) and assists with 4.2apg (6th best).
