Best players of Iranian Superleague round 6

American Jordan Stevens (182-PG-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Tabiat and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 29-year old playmaker had the game-high 40 points adding four rebounds and seven assists for Tabiat in his team's victory, helping them to beat Rafsanjan (#7, 3-3) 82-76. Tabiat is placed at 2nd position in Iranian Superleague. They are still close to the very top. Tabiat would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 5-1 record. In the team's last game Stevens had a remarkable 57.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Tabiat's top player in his first season with the team. Midwestern State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Stevens is league's best scorer averaging so far 31.3ppg. Stevens is in league's top in and averages solid 60.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was international Majid Rahimian of AvertaSari. Rahimian impressed basketball fans with 29 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for Averta to edge Sanaye (#12, 0-6) by 4 points 78-74. This victory allowed Averta to move up to 8th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-4 record. Rahimian is a newcomer at Averta and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was international guard Rasoul Mozafari (188-SG-1994) of Zob Ahan Isfahan (#3). Mozafari showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, eight rebounds and ten assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of Zob Ahan, leading his team to a 76-66 win against the lower-ranked Kalleh (#6, 3-3). Zob Ahan is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 5-1 record is not that bad... Mozafari has a very solid season. In 2 games in Iran he scored 14.5ppg.
