Aghajanpour's 28 points and 9 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

22-year old power forward Matin Aghajanpour (199-PF-2001) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Kalleh Mazandaran Amol and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had the game-high 28 points adding nine rebounds and five assists for Kalleh in his team's victory, helping them to beat Limondis (#8, 1-2) 94-85. Kalleh is placed at 4th position in Iranian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Kalleh will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Aghajanpour had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. It's his second year at Kalleh and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Aghajanpour has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 25.3ppg) and averages solid 51.9% FGP and 44.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Ehsan Samadi (192-G/F-1998) of Raad Padafand Mashhad. He is international swingman in his first season at Raad. In the last game Samadi recorded impressive 29 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. It was enough for Raad to edge Sanaye (0-3) by 5 points 102-97. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Samadi is a newcomer at Raad and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.5ppg (#7). His other stats are also decent: 5.0rpg and 6.5apg.

Third place about best performers goes to center Marko Perovic (204-C-1992, agency: PEPI SPORT) of Sanaye Poshtiban Hormozgan Bandar Abbass (#12). Perovic got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for seventeen rebounds . Despite Perovic's great performance Sanaye lost 97-102 to Raad (#9, 1-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Sanaye can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 3 games. Perovic has a very solid season. In 3 games in Iran he scored 14.7ppg.
