Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Mahram (2-1) in Tehran on Monday night. Hosts were edged by Tabiat (3-0) 79-77. Tabiat outrebounded Mahram 43-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Swiss point guard Jordan Stevens (182-1994, college: Midwestern St.) who led his team to a victory with 28 points and 4 assists. The former international Arman Zangeneh (202-1993, agency: BIG) contributed with 11 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Sajjad Mashayekhi (180-1994) answered with 19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals for Mahram. Mahram's coach Farzad Kouhian rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tabiat is looking forward to face Naft Abadan at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Mahram will play against Limondis and is hoping to win this game.
Gorgan (3-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat Kerman (0-3) 84-74. It was a great evening for point guard Will Cherry (185-1991, college: Montana) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 8 assists and 9 steals. Navid Rezaeifar helped adding 16 points. Gorgan's coach Mostafa Hashemi allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Mohsen Moradkhani with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. Gorgan will play against Kalleh (#4) in Amol in the next round. Kerman will play on the road against Zob Ahan (#6) in Esfahan and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game in Esfahan was also quite interesting. Rafsanjan (1-2) played at the court of Zob Ahan (2-1). Zob Ahan defeated Rafsanjan 81-67 on Monday. It was an exceptional evening for Hossien Makarian who led the winners and scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Zob Ahan's coach Mehran Hatami used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ali Vernosafadarani came up with 16 points and 4 assists for Rafsanjan in the defeat. Zob Ahan will meet at home Kerman (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rafsanjan will play against Sanaye (#12) and hope to win that game.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 3: Limondis was beaten by Kalleh on the road 94-85. Raad won against Sanaye on its own court 102-97. Winless Averta lost to undefeated Naft Abadan in a road game 60-68.




Kalleh - Limondis 94-85

Kalleh used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from 94-85 on Monday night. Kalleh made 28-of-36 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game, while Limondis only scored eleven points from the stripe. It was an exceptional evening for the former international Matin Aghajanpour (199-2001) who led the winners and scored 28 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Nosrat Yazarloo (197-2002) accounted for 22 points for the winning side. American point guard Jalen Bradley (185-1993, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) came up with 28 points and 5 assists and Serbian center Dragan Tubak (216-1987, agency: BIG) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Limondis in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kalleh will meet Gorgan on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Limondis will play against Mahram (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Gorgan forced 25 Kerman turnovers. Kerman was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Raad - Sanaye 102-97

Raad used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Bandar Abbass 102-97 on Monday night. Raad had a 35-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international swingman Ehsan Samadi (192-1998) who led the winners and scored 29 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Pedram Fakhfori accounted for 22 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Montenegrin center Marko Perovic (204-1992, agency: PEPI SPORT) came up with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 17 rebounds and Payam Kiani added 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Sanaye in the defeat. Four Raad and five Sanaye players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Raad will meet Averta (#10) in the next round. Sanaye will play against Rafsanjan and looks forward to get finally their first victory.

Very predictable result when Naft Abadan (3-0) won against at home Averta (0-3) 68-60 on Monday. Naft Abadan outrebounded Averta 56-34 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Mehdi Hasanzadeh who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Ehsan Dalirzahan (186-2000) accounted for 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Naft Abadan's coach Hemad Sameri used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
