Norvel Pelle

Defending champion Shahrdari Gorgan (Superleague) inked 30-year old American ex-international 208cm forward Norvel Pelle (college: Iona) for upcoming season. Pelle played most recently at Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico (NBA G League) in the U.S. He also played for Mad Ants in U.S. NBA-G-League where in 21 games he averaged 6.0ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.1bpg last season.
In 2013 he was drafted by Delaware 87ers (D-League) in first round (6th overall).
The former Iona College star is in his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball. Pelle was a member of Lebanese Senior National Team back in 2017.
He is a very experienced player. Pelle has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to six different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Italy (Varese and Torino), Taiwan (Dacin Tigers), NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Utah Jazz, Brooklyn Nets and NY Knicks), Lebanon (Homentmen), NBA G League (Cleveland Charge and Delaware Blue Coats) and NBA Summer League (Philadelphia 76ers). His team made it to the Lebanese League Semifinals in 2016 and 2019.
Among many awards he was voted to Asia-basket.com All-FIBA Asia Cup Honorable Mention back in 2017.
