Indonesia reached the Semifinals of Division B of the Asia Cup 2023. They overcame Iran 65:56 for a 3-0 record. Indonesia started with a 19-13 run, but then Iran replied with a massive 15-8 rally in the second frame. Iran added a 16-13 run in the third quarter, however Indonesia erupted with a 25-12 surge in the last stanza to remain undefeated.
Kim Pierre-Louis (183-F/C-1993, college: UMass, agency: Areus Sports) top-scored for the winners with 26 points and 15 rebounds, whilst Clarita Antonio (178-C-1999) delivered 9. Negin Khameneh replied with 16 points in a loss and Faezeh Shahriari (175-SG-1994) produced 12.
