Superleague Round 6 (Second Stage): Kerman lose their first game against Mahram

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Kerman (4-1) in Tehran on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by seventh ranked Mahram (2-3) 95-70. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Kerman. Mahram moved-up to second place, which they share with Zob Ahan and Kalleh. Kerman at the other side keeps the fifth position with one game lost. They share it with Sanaye.
Important game to mention about took place in Mashhad. Sixth ranked Arak (3-2) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 8th ranked Parsa (1-4) 89-87 on Sunday evening. Newly promoted Arak maintains sixth position with 3-2 record. Parsa at the other side dropped to the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Naft Abadan.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Naft Abadan (1-4) against fourth ranked Zob Ahan (2-3) on Sunday night. Visiting Naft Abadan was defeated by Zob Ahan in a tough game in Esfahan 77-83. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Zob Ahan moved-up to second place, which they share with Mahram and Kalleh. Naft Abadan lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Parsa.

In the last two games of round 6 Rafsanjan won against Raad on the opponent's court 68-66. Kalleh lost to defending champion Gorgan in a home game 94-104.



Raad - Rafsanjan 66-68

Rather expected game in Mashhad where 11th ranked Raad (2-4) was edged by ninth ranked Rafsanjan (6-1) 68-66 on Sunday. Rafsanjan have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain ninth position with 6-1 record. Loser Raad keeps the eleventh place with four games lost.

Kalleh - Gorgan 94-104

The game between closely ranked teams ended with top-ranked Gorgan's (5-0) road victory over second-best Kalleh (2-3) 104-94 on Sunday. Gorgan have an impressive five-game winning streak.
