Superleague Round 21: No surprise as #1 Gorgan defeat Raad

Superleague top team - Gorgan (18-2) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Raad (2-19) in Mashhad 86-66. Gorgan have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 18-2 record. Raad lost tenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 19 lost games.
The game in Arak was also worth to mention about. 7th ranked Kerman (10-11) played at the court of eighth ranked Arak (8-10). Arak defeated Kerman 64-52. Newly promoted Arak maintains eighth place with 8-10 record. Kerman at the other side keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost.
An interesting game took place in Bandar Abbass where 6th ranked Parsa (10-10) was upset on the court of ninth ranked Sanaye (8-11) 79-72 on Thursday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Parsa. Sanaye maintains ninth place with 8-11 record. Loser Parsa keeps the sixth position with ten games lost.

In the last two games of round 21 Mahram lost to Kalleh on the opponent's court 73-84. Naft Abadan outscored Azarshahr in a home game 99-80.



Kalleh - Mahram 84-73

Rather expected game in Amol where 5th ranked Mahram (12-8) was defeated by third ranked Kalleh (15-6) 84-73 on Thursday. Newly promoted Kalleh maintains third place with 15-6 record having just two points less than leader Gorgan. Loser Mahram keeps the fifth position with eight games lost.
