Parsa - Rafsanjan 81-59 Very expected game in Mashhad where 10th ranked Rafsanjan (6-14) was crushed by sixth ranked Parsa (10-9) 81-59. Parsa have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 10-9 record. Rafsanjan at the other side keeps the tenth place with 14 games lost. Parsa will play against Sanaye (#9) in Bandar Abbass in the next round. Rafsanjan will play at home against the league's second-placed Zob Ahan and hopes to get back on the winning track. Mahram - Arak 79-63 Rather predictable result in Tehran where fifth ranked Mahram (12-7) defeated 8th ranked Arak (7-10) 79-63. Mahram moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Naft Abadan. Arak lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. Mahram will play against higher ranked Kalleh (#3) in Amol in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Arak will play at home against Kerman (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Kerman - Sanaye 80-74 Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Sanaye (7-11) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Kerman (10-10) 80-74. Kerman maintains seventh position with 10-10 record. Sanaye at the other side keeps the ninth place with 11 games lost. Kerman will play against Arak (#8) on the road in the next round. Sanaye will play against Parsa and hopes to get back on the winning track. Gorgan - Naft Abadan 88-83 The game between Top Four teams took place in Gorgan. First ranked host Gorgan (17-2) defeated 4th ranked Naft Abadan (12-7) 88-83. Gorgan have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 17-2 record. Naft Abadan at the other side keeps the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Mahram. Gorgan are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Raad (#12) in Mashhad in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Naft Abadan will play at home against Azarshahr (#11) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win. Azarshahr - Kalleh 63-88 11th ranked Azarshahr (2-15) was outscored at home by third ranked Kalleh (14-6) with the biggest margin this round 88-63. Newly promoted Kalleh maintains third position with 14-6 record having just two points less than leader Gorgan. Azarshahr lost tenth consecutive game. Azarshahr at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eleventh place with 15 games lost. Kalleh will play against Mahram (#5) in Tehran in the next round. Azarshahr will play on the road against Naft Abadan (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track. Zob Ahan - Raad 95-73 Everything went according to plan in Esfahan where second ranked Zob Ahan (15-5) outscored bottom-ranked Raad (2-18) 95-73. Zob Ahan maintains second position with 15-5 record having just one point less than leader Gorgan. Raad lost ninth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 18 lost games. Zob Ahan will play against Rafsanjan (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Raad will play against the league's leader Gorgan and hopes to get back on the winning track. |
