There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Superleague. Coincidentally all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
Kalleh - Gorgan 83-88 The game between Top Four teams took place in Amol. Their biggest opponent host Kalleh (13-6) lost to first ranked Gorgan (16-2) 88-83. Gorgan have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 16-2 record. Newly promoted Kalleh dropped to the third position with six games lost. Gorgan will meet at home Naft Abadan (#4) in the next round. Kalleh will play against Azarshahr and hope to secure a win. Kerman - Parsa 72-75 Important game to mention about took place in Kerman. Seventh ranked Parsa (9-9) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked Kerman (9-10) 75-72 in the game for the sixth place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kerman. Parsa moved-up to sixth place. Kerman at the other side dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. Parsa will play against Rafsanjan (#10) at home in the next round. Kerman will play against Sanaye and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Raad - Rafsanjan 64-74 Rather expected game in Mashhad where 12th ranked Raad (2-17) was defeated by tenth ranked Rafsanjan (6-13) 74-64 on Monday. Rafsanjan maintains tenth place with 6-13 record. Raad lost their eighth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Rafsanjan will meet higher ranked Parsa (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Raad will play against the league's second-placed Zob Ahan (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory. Naft Abadan - Zob Ahan 88-89 The most exciting game of round 19 in the Superleague took place in Abadan. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 4th placed Naft Abadan (12-6) to second ranked Zob Ahan (14-5) 89-88 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Naft Abadan. Zob Ahan maintains second place with 14-5 record having just one point less than leader Gorgan. Naft Abadan at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Zob Ahan are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Raad (#12) in Mashhad in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Naft Abadan will play on the road against the league's leader Gorgan (#1) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win. Sanaye - Mahram 87-96 Rather predictable result in Bandar Abbass where fifth ranked Mahram (11-7) defeated 9th ranked Sanaye (7-10) 96-87 on Monday. Mahram maintains fifth place with 11-7 record. Loser Sanaye keeps the ninth position with ten games lost. Mahram will meet at home Arak (#8) in the next round. Sanaye will play against Kerman and it may be a tough game between close rivals. |
