Superleague Round 13: Mahram is defeated by Rafsanjan

The game between third ranked Mahram (8-4) and tenth ranked Rafsanjan (4-9) was the most important one in the last round on Monday night. Mahram was edged by Rafsanjan in a tough game in Tehran 79-81. Rafsanjan maintains tenth place with 4-9 record. Mahram at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost.
Superleague top team - Gorgan (11-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked Parsa (6-6) in Mashhad 95-82. Defending champion maintains first place with 11-2 record. Parsa at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost.
The game in Arak was also quite interesting. Second ranked Kalleh (10-3) played at the court of 7th ranked Arak (5-6). Kalleh managed to secure a 9-point victory 69-60 on Monday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Arak. Kalleh have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Kalleh maintains second place with 10-3 record behind leader Gorgan. Arak at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eighth position with six games lost.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 13: bottom-ranked Raad was destroyed by Kerman on the opponent's court 90-71. Sanaye managed to outperform Naft Abadan in a home game 82-81. Zob Ahan managed to beat Azarshahr on the road 99-86.

Parsa - Gorgan 82-95

Azarshahr - Zob Ahan 86-99

Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Azarshahr (2-10) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Zob Ahan (9-4) 99-86 on Monday. Zob Ahan have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Azarshahr lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with ten games lost.
