Superleague Round 3: Naft Abadan is defeated by Arak

Superleague is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 3 rounds left. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most surprising game was a loss of Naft Abadan (1-1) on the court of Arak on Thursday night. Visitors were edged by Arak 77-76. Arak is looking forward to face Raad (#11) in Mashhad in the next round. Naft Abadan will play at home against Kalleh (#3) and is hoping to win this game.
Important game to mention about took place in Tehran. Mahram (3-0) saved a 1-point victory at home edging Zob Ahan (1-1) 69-68 on Thursday evening. Mahram will play against Gorgan at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Zob Ahan will play against Kerman (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Mashhad was also quite interesting. Kalleh (2-0) played at the court of Parsa (1-2). Kalleh managed to secure a 9-point victory 82-73 on Thursday. Kalleh will meet Naft Abadan (#6) on the road in the next round. Parsa will play against Azarshahr and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 3: Rafsanjan lost to Kerman on the opponent's court 50-51. Sanaye outscored Raad in a home game 75-56. Gorgan rolled over Azarshahr on the road 87-65.

Parsa - Kalleh 73-82

Very expected game when Rafsanjan (0-3) was edged on the road by Kerman (2-1) 51-50 on Thursday. However just one-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Kerman will meet at home Zob Ahan (#7) in the next round. Rafsanjan will play against Sanaye (#5) in Bandar Abbass and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Sanaye - Raad 75-56

Rather predictable result in Bandar Abbass where Sanaye (1-0) smashed Raad (0-3) 75-56 on Thursday. Sanaye will meet at home Rafsanjan (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Raad will play against Arak and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Arak - Naft Abadan 77-76
