Syria defeated Iran 59-46 in Division B of the FIBA U-16 Women's Asian Championship 2022 on Tuesday. Farnaz Khodamoradi (178-PF-2005) led Iran with 11 points and Syria's Laila Agha (165-G-2006) scored 14 points. Iran, who came third in Group B after Lebanon and Kazakhstan, will meet its rival on Wednesday in the fifth-place match. Syria will face Lebanon in the semifinals round. The competition is being held in Amman, Jordan. |
