Sirjan upset Mahram on the road and secured their semifinal berth. Sirjan made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Mahram turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by Mahram helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Amir Taherkhani who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Russian guard Anton Ponkrashov (200-1986) helped adding 17 points and 7 assists. Four Sirjan players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was international Mohammad Hassanzadeh (203-1990) with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 17 rebounds and American-Ukrainian point guard Jerome Randle (175-1987, college: California) scored 20 points and 5 assists.
