Superleague Round 10: Foolad is defeated by Sanaye

The most important game in the last round took place in Tehran between second ranked Foolad (8-11) and fourth ranked Sanaye (5-14) on Monday night. Foolad was defeated by Sanaye in a tough game at home 57-63. Sanaye held Foolad to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.0 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Foolad 61-33 including a 42-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was Raad's third loss in a row. They keep the third place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Exxon SC.

Ehsan Dalirzahan produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Naft Abadan's coach Ali Towfigh gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Zob Ahan have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 17-2 record. Naft Abadan at the other side keeps the third place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Sanaye. Zob Ahan will meet league's second-placed Foolad in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Naft Abadan will play against Sanaye and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 10 Parsa lost to Mahram on the opponent's court 54-66. Kerman outscored Khouzestan in a home game 77-56.
