Alade Aminu
Ali Rineh (202-F/C-97) had a very impressive game in the last round for Raad and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5 (Second Stage).
The 24-year old power forward had a double-double of 18 points and fourteen rebounds, while his team beat Niroo Zamini (#4, 0-17), Second Stage bottom-ranked team 74-67. Raad maintains the 3rd position in their group in Iranian Superleague. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Raad have already lost 12 games and recorded just five victories. Rineh turned to be Raad's top player in his first season with the team. Ali Rineh averages this season 12.5ppg and 7.8rpg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 34-year old Nigerian power forward Alade Aminu (207-F/C-87) of league's best team Chemidor. Aminu impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds. It was enough for Chemidor to edge slightly lower-ranked Sirjan (#2, 11-6) by 3 points 63-60. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group E. Chemidor consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. His team lost just two games this Second Stage, while they won 15 matches. Aminu is one of the most experienced players at Chemidor and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
The third best performed player last round was Pouya Yakhchali (G-96) of Niroo Zamini (#4). Yakhchali scored 27 points and grabbed five rebounds. Despite Yakhchali's great performance Niroo Zamini lost 67-74 to #3 ranked Raad. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Niroo Zamini can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group E. They have awful Second Stage losing so far all 17 games. Yakhchali has individually a great season in Iran. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.7ppg (5th best).

8. Reza Moradi (207-C) of Exxon SC - 14 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Amirhossein Rezaeifar (196-F) of Exxon SC - 12 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Ali Kashani (186-SG) of Exxon SC - 18 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists
The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
