Hassanzadeh's 19 points and 6 rebounds give him Player of the Week award

31-year old power forward Mohammad Hassanzadeh (203-PF-90) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team Mahram and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3 (Second Stage).
He had the game-high 19 points adding six rebounds and three assists for Mahram in his team's victory, helping them to crush Khouzestan (#4, 3-13) with 25-point margin 84-59. It allowed Mahram to consolidate first place in the Iranian league. Mahram have a solid 13-3 record. Hassanzadeh turned to be Mahram's top player in his first season with the team. Hassanzadeh has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 9.3rpg) and averages solid 58.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Isaiah Williams (188-G-95, agency: BIG) of league's second-best Kerman. He is American guard in his first season at Kerman. In the last game Williams recorded impressive 36 points. Bad luck as Kerman lost that game 81-86 to Parsa (8-8). The Second Stage is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Williams is a newcomer at Kerman and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.9ppg (#2). He also recorded 3.8 assists per game. Former Georgia State University star Williams is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to center Kyrylo Fesenko (215-C-86, agency: BIG) of Sanaye (#4). Fesenko scored 21 points and grabbed twenty one rebounds (!!!). Despite Fesenko's great performance Sanaye lost 86-87 to #1 ranked Zob Ahan. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Sanaye can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group F. They have rather bad season and 3-12 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Fesenko has individually a great season in Iran. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 13.2rpg (2nd best). He also has 2.1bpg and FGP: 61.3%.
