Superleague Round 2 (Second Stage): Gorgan defeats Kouchin in the game between Top 4 teams

An interesting game for Gorgan which played road game in Amol against Kouchin. Gorgan had an easy win 99-82. Gorgan dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Kouchin's 48. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. International Mohammad Jamshidi (199-91, agency: BIG) orchestrated the victory by scoring 35 points (!!!). American Christopher Evans (203-91, college: Kent St.) contributed with 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Gorgan's coach Mehran Hatami used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian center Darko Balaban (211-89) replied with 15 points and 9 rebounds for Kouchin. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

American point guard Alani Moore II (178-98, college: Temple) scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Robert Gilchrist chipped in 30 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Rafsanjan's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Behshad Arabzadeh (195-0) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds.
