Best players of Iranian Superleague round 1 (Second Stage) - by Hoops Agents

Experienced Nigerian Alade Aminu (207-F/C-87) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Chemidor and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1 (Second Stage).
The 34-year old power forward had the game-high 21 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Chemidor in his team's victory, helping them to crush, Second Stage bottom-ranked team Niroo Zamini (#4, 0-15) with 20-point margin 83-63. It allowed Chemidor to consolidate first place in the Iranian Superleague. Chemidor have a solid 13-2 record. Aminu just recently signed at Chemidor and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Jalal Aghamiri, agency: Domantay Sports) of Kouchin. Aghamiri impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 18 points and 16 rebounds. Of course he led Kouchin to another comfortable win 94-76 over Rafsanjan (10-5) being unquestionably team leader. The Second Stage is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Aghamiri is well-known by Kouchin fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Christopher Evans (203-SF-91) of top-ranked Gorgan. Evans scored 17 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was a key player of Gorgan, leading his team to a 88-61 easy win against #4 ranked Exxon SC in a game of the week. Gorgan confirms their top position in Group C. Evans has a very solid season. In 7 games in Iran he scored 17.4ppg. He also has 5.1rpg, 3.3spg and FGP: 58.5%.
