Zangeneh's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

28-year old power forward Arman Zangeneh (202-PF-93, agency: BIG) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Zob Ahan and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 26.
He had a double-double of 30 points and 13 rebounds, while his team outclassed Khouzestan (#6, 3-8) with 26-point margin 92-66. Zob Ahan maintains the 2nd position in their group in Iranian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Zob Ahan will need more victories to improve their 10-3 record. In the team's last game Zangeneh had a remarkable 84.6% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Arman Zangeneh averages this season 10.8ppg and 7.3rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Amirhossein Rezaeifar (196-F) of Exxon SC. He is a forward in his 3rd season at Exxon SC. In the last game Rezaeifar recorded impressive double-double of 18 points and 18 rebounds. Bad luck as Exxon SC was edged by the higher-ranked Rafsanjan (#3, 9-4) 74-70. This loss caused Exxon SC to drop to 8th position in Group B. 11 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Exxon SC managed to get this year. Rezaeifar is one of the most experienced players at Exxon SC and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Kyrylo Fesenko (215-C-86, agency: BIG) of Sanaye (#7). Fesenko scored 18 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Sanaye, leading his team to a 82-70 win against the higher-ranked Parsa (#4, 6-8). Sanaye can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group B. They have rather bad season and 3-9 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Fesenko has individually a great season in Iran. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.5rpg (2nd best). He also has 2.3bpg and FGP: 59.8%.
