Best players of Iranian Superleague round 25 (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced Montenegrin-Serbian Nikola Dragovic (206-F-87, agency: BeoBasket) had a very impressive game in the last round for Sirjan and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
The 34-year old forward had the game-high 34 points adding eight rebounds and three assists for Sirjan in his team's victory, helping them to beat Niroo Zamini (#8, 0-14), the league's bottom-ranked team 105-93. Sirjan maintains the 4th position in their group in Iranian Superleague. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Sirjan will need more victories to improve their 9-5 record. In the team's last game Dragovic had a remarkable 86.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Sirjan's top player in his first season with the team. University of California at Los Angeles graduate has very impressive stats this year. Dragovic is in league's top in points (3rd best: 20.4ppg), rebounds (7th best: 9.5rpg) and averages solid 55.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 25-year old guard Pouya Yakhchali (G-96) of Niroo Zamini. Yakhchali impressed basketball fans with 37 points, 4 rebounds and 9 assists. Bad luck as Niroo Zamini lost that game 93-105 to the higher-ranked Sirjan (#4, 9-5). Niroo Zamini managed to keep the same 8th spot in Group A. 14 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Yakhchali is well-known by Niroo Zamini fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.9ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 4.6rpg and 3.8apg.

The third best performed player last round was former international forward Arman Zangeneh (202-PF-93, agency: BIG) of second-ranked Zob Ahan. Zangeneh scored 28 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Zob Ahan, leading his team to a 88-82 win against the lower-ranked Kouchin (#5, 7-5). Zob Ahan needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Group A. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 3 lost games. Zangeneh has a very solid season. In 11 games in Iran he scored 10.8ppg. He also has 7.3rpg and FGP: 62.5%.
