Aminu has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2013. He also represented Nigeria at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) six years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 9.2ppg, 4.0rpg, FGP: 52.8%, FT: 66.7%. Aminu is quite experienced player. Thanks to Aminu's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in eight different countries. He has played previously professionally in France (Chalon/Saor and JSF Nanterre), Israel (Hapoel Tel Aviv and Hapoel Eilat), Italy, Lebanon (Al Riyadi), Poland (Twarde Pierniki), Turkey (Pinar Karsiyaka, TED Ankara and Bandirma), NBA (Miami Aminuat) and NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks).
