Chemidor sign a second USA player, ex Guaynabo

Chemidor Tehran (Superleague) tabbed 32-year old American 191cm point guard Dwight Buycks (college: Marquette).
He played last summer at Mets de Guaynabo in Puerto Rican BSN league. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In three BSN games he averaged impressive 16.3ppg, 4.0rpg, 4.7apg and 2.0spg. The last season he was tested by JSF Nanterre in French Betclic ELITE ProA where in four games he had 9.5ppg, 1.3rpg and 3.3apg. He also played 5 games in Eurocup where he recorded 4.0ppg, 2.0rpg and 2.8apg.
In 2011 Tulsa 66ers voted him as fifth overall pick in D-League draft.
Buycks attended Marquette University and it is his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2015.
Buycks is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in eight different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Buycks has played previously professionally in Belgium (Oostende), China (Sturgeons and Aviators), Greece (Olympiacos), Spain, NBA (Detroit Pistons, OKC Thunder and Toronto Raptors), France (Gravelines Dunkerque), NBA G League (OKC Blue, NAZ Suns and Grand Rapids Gold) and The Basketball Tournament (Golden Eagles).
Among many awards he won The Basketball Tournament championship title in 2020. He was selected to USBasket.com All-TBT 1st Team in 2019.
