Iranian Superleague round 15 best performance: Elijah Holman

American Power forward Elijah Holman (208-F/C-89) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Mahram, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 32-year old player had a double-double of 29 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Foolad (#7, 2-7) 105-94. Mahram maintains the 2nd position in their group in Iranian Superleague. They are still close to the very top. Mahram would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 7-1 record. Holman turned to be Mahram's top player in his first season with the team. Elijah Holman averages just after two games 22.0ppg and 13.5rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 23-year old American Alani Moore II (178-PG-98) of Rafsanjan. Moore II had a very good evening with 34 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for Rafsanjan to edge slightly lower-ranked Parsa (#5, 3-5) 84-83. Rafsanjan's 3rd position in Group B has not changed. His team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Moore II is a newcomer at Rafsanjan, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was former international guard Emad Salmani (188-G-90) of Foolad (#7). Salmani showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, six rebounds and eight assists in the last round. Despite Salmani's great performance Foolad lost 94-105 to the higher-ranked Mahram (#2, 7-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Salmani has individually a great season in Iran. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.9ppg (9th best).

9. Ali Jamshidi (196-G/F-85) of Sanaye - 15 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Amirhossein Azari (193-SF-98) of Chemidor - 20 points and 5 rebounds
