Best players of Iranian Superleague round 5

Experienced International Power forward Mohammad Hassanzadeh (203-PF-90) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Mahram and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 31-year old power forward had a double-double of 18 points and sixteen rebounds, while his team edged out Exxon SC (#6, 1-3) 70-66. It allowed Mahram to jump to the first place in the Iranian Superleague. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 21-year old shooting guard Ali Kashani (186-SG) of Exxon SC. Kashani impressed basketball fans with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Exxon SC was edged by Group B's leader Mahram (#1, 4-0) 70-66. This loss caused Exxon SC to drop to 6th position in Group B. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Exxon SC managed to get this year. Kashani is one of the most experienced players at Exxon SC and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Mohammad Yazdanpanah (201-F-95) of Sanaye (#8). Yazdanpanah scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Despite Yazdanpanah's great performance Sanaye lost 66-69 to the higher-ranked Foolad (#4, 1-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Sanaye can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group B. They have awful season losing so far all 3 games. Yazdanpanah has a very solid season. In 3 games in Iran he scored 13.0ppg.
