Superleague Round 6: Mahram keeps a leadership position

Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Mahram as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Mahram defeated 3rd ranked Parsa in Tehran 71-55. 24 personal fouls committed by Parsa helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Saeid Davarpanah (190-87, agency: Interperformances) who scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. The former international point guard Mahdi Kamrani (181-82, agency: BIG) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Morteza Taheri (189-96) who recorded 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mahram have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Another exciting game was played in Teheran between sixth ranked Raad and one of their biggest challengers Exxon SC where Raad (2-2) beat Exxon SC (1-3) on the road 70-61. It was a good game for Hossien Makarian who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Ali Rineh contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Behshad Arabzadeh (195-0) replied with 21 points for Exxon SC. Exxon SC's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Raad moved-up to third place. Exxon SC at the other side dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
