Henry's double-double lands him Player of the Week award- January 27, 2021
He got a double-double of 21 points and 10 assists, while his team beat Khouzestan (#8, 0-11), the league's bottom-ranked team 83-69. Exxon SC maintains the 3rd position in their group in Iranian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Exxon SC will need more victories to improve their 7-3 record. In the team's last game Henry had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Exxon SC's top player in his first season with the team. Tarleton State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Henry is in league's top in points (9th best: 14.4ppg), assists (2nd best: 6.1apg) and averages solid 2.1spg. Second best performed player last round was Chris Ware (203-C-89) of Khouzestan. He is American center in his first season at Khouzestan. In the last game Ware recorded impressive double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Khouzestan lost that game 69-83 to the higher-ranked Exxon SC (#3, 7-3). Khouzestan managed to keep the same 8th spot in Group A. 11 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Ware is a newcomer at Khouzestan and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. Third place about best performers goes to Mohammad Jamshidi (199-SF-91) of league's leader Gorgan. Jamshidi showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, seven rebounds and eight assists in the last round. He was a key player of Gorgan, leading his team to a 86-79 win against the lower-ranked Parsa (#5, 4-5). Gorgan have amazing season winning all 11 games without a single defeat in Group A. Jamshidi turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Jamshidi has a great season in Iran. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.0ppg (2nd best), rebounds with 5.2rpg (7th best) and assists with 6.3apg (best passer). Aleksandar Ponjavic (200-G-91) of Parsa - 14 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists 6. Iman Zandi (188-F/G-81) of Parsa - 26 points and 4 assists 7. Saleh Foroutannik (207-F/C-94) of Parsa - 20 points and 6 rebounds 8. Nikola Maravic (212-C-89) of Parsa - 14 points and 7 rebounds 9. Mohammadsina Vahedi (185-PG-01) of Gorgan - 14 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists 10.
