Best players of Iranian Superleague round 15

Corin Henry

Experienced American Corin Henry (181-PG-88) had a very impressive game in the last round for Exxon SC and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 32-year old playmaker had the game-high 21 points adding five rebounds and five assists for Exxon SC in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Parsa (#5, 3-4) 62-58. Exxon SC maintains the 3rd position in their group in Iranian Superleague. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Exxon SC will need more victories to improve their 6-2 record. Henry turned to be Exxon SC's top player in his first season with the team. Tarleton State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Henry is in league's top in points (7th best: 15.4ppg), assists (3rd best: 6.0apg) and averages solid 2.4spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Adnan Douraghi of Raad. Douraghi impressed basketball fans with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Raad was edged by the higher-ranked Exxon SC (#3, 6-2) 61-58. Raad managed to keep the same 7th spot in Group A. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Raad managed to get this year. Douraghi is a newcomer at Raad and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Amir Taherkhani of Qazvin (#4). Taherkhani scored 13 points and passed seven assists. He was a key player of Qazvin, leading his team to a 81-68 easy win against the lower-ranked Raad (#7, 1-8). Qazvin needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Group A. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 3 lost games. Taherkhani has a very solid season. In 8 games in Iran he scored 9.3ppg.
