Best players of Iranian Superleague round 12

Corin Henry

Experienced American Corin Henry (181-PG-88) put on an amazing game in the last round for Exxon SC and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 32-year old playmaker had the game-high 20 points adding seven rebounds and nine assists for Exxon SC in his team's victory, helping them to beat Qazvin (#4, 4-3) 72-61. Exxon SC is placed at 3rd position in Iranian Superleague. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Exxon SC will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. Henry turned to be Exxon SC's top player in his first season with the team. Tarleton State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Henry is in league's top in points (8th best: 16.0ppg), assists (2nd best: 6.3apg) and averages solid 2.5spg and 51.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Saleh Moradian of Raad. Moradian impressed basketball fans with 35 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Raad lost that game 78-95 to slightly higher-ranked Parsa (#5, 3-3). Raad managed to keep the same 7th spot in Group A. 6 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Raad managed to get this year. Moradian is well-known by Raad fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Serbian Aleksandar Ponjavic (200-G-91) of Parsa (#5). Ponjavic scored 25 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was a key player of Parsa, leading his team to a 95-78 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Raad (#7, 1-6). Parsa needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Group A. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 3 lost games. Ponjavic has a great season in Iran. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.0ppg (6th best). He also has 2.8spg and FGP: 68.4%.
