Iranian Superleague round 5 best performance: Ehsan Dalirzahan (by Hoops Agents)

International Guard Ehsan Dalirzahan (186-G) had a very impressive game in the last round for Qazvin, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The player had a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds, while his team edged out Rafsanjan (#6, 1-3) 81-79. Qazvin maintains the 3rd position in their group in Iranian Superleague. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Qazvin will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. Dalirzahan turned to be Qazvin's top player in his first season with the team. Ehsan Dalirzahan averages this season 13.0ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was 32-year old American Corin Henry (181-PG-88) of Exxon SC. Henry had a very good evening with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course Exxon SC cruised to a 74-66 relatively comfortable win over Khouzestan (#7, 0-4). Exxon SC's 5th position in Group A has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 2-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Henry is a newcomer at Exxon SC, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was former international forward Hamed Sohrabnejad (205-PF-83) of league's second-best Naft Abadan. Sohrabnejad scored 19 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Naft Abadan, leading his team to a 98-61 easy win against Raad (#8, 0-4). Naft Abadan started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game in Group A. Sohrabnejad turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Sohrabnejad has a very solid season. In 3 games in Iran he scored 9.3ppg.
