Khouzestan inks Reger Dowell, ex CDP

Reger Dowell

Khane Basketball Khouzestan (Superleague) agreed terms with 29-year old American point guard Reger Dowell (185-83kg-91, college: UT Arlington). He played last summer at CDP Domingo Paulino Santiago in Santiago League in Dominican Republic. In 11 games he had very impressive stats: 15.9ppg, 3.2rpg and 5.4apg.
Dowell is quite experienced player. He has played in seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Dowell has played previously professionally in Argentina (Penarol), Austria (Kapfenberg Bulls and BC Vienna), Belarus, Bulgaria (Beroe), Georgia (Dinamo), Greece (Aiolos Trikallon and Doxa Lefkadas) and Slovakia (Prievidza).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Dowell's team made it to the Georgian final in 2019. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Georgian League Honorable Mention in 2019.
He attended University of Texas at Arlington until 2014 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
