Women's Pro League Draw Held

The drawing session for Women's Pro League was held by IRIBF. Iran Basketball Federation; Tehran: The session gathered Women's Teams representatives from around the country where they got to know their opponents for the new edition of the League. NF Secretary-General, Women's Refereeing Department Officer and NF Vice-President were present in the session. The draw was then carried out by a software and 14 teams were ratified for participation in two groups.
Group A invites: Bahman Tehran, Namino Isfahan, Gaz-e Tehran, Mahram Tehran, Paz-e Tehran, Sinam Mashhad and Narsina Tehran; and Group B invites: Banovan Gorgan, Naft-e Abadan, Multi-Cafe Mashahd, Shahrdary Qazvin, Sepehrdad Tehran, Konko Tehran and Hormozgan Basketball House.
It is highlighted that the Women's Pro League will commence by November and teams will meet each other every other week. The most important decision approved by all representatives was a negative Covid-19 test 48 hours prior to each game and that the games will be held without spectators. Also, in the case 30 percent of the tests were positive, team will not be able to compete.
