Kelvin Amayo

Chemidor Tehran (Superleague) added to their roster 28-year old Nigerian-Canadian guard Kelvin Amayo (193-102kg-92, college: LMU). He is the second import player in the roster as USA Waverly Austin signed here earlier.

Amayo played last season at Toufarghan. In 16 Superleague games in Iran, he was the best scorer with an impressive 26.6ppg and had 4.6rpg, 4.2apg, and 4.0spg (leader !!!). A very spectacular season in his career as he was selected Asia-Basket.com All-Iranian Superleague Player of the Year, Asia-Basket.com All-Iranian Superleague Defensive Player of the Year, and voted to 1st Team.

The previous (2019) summer Amayo was tested by Zestaponi (Georgian A-League) in the Georgian second division where in two games he recorded very remarkable stats: 22.0ppg, 6.5rpg, 5.0apg, and 3.5spg in 2019 season.

He has played also professionally in The Basketball Tournament (Johnnies).

Amayo's college team won MAAC Tournament in 2016.

Amayo attended Loyola Marymount University until 2017 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.
