Rostock lands Behnam Yakhchali, ex Gorgan

Rostock Seawolves (ProA) tabbed 24-year old Iranian international shooting guard Behnam Yakhchali (196-91kg-95). He played most recently at Shahrdari Gorgan in Iranian Superleague. In four games he averaged 13.8ppg, 6.3rpg and 4.3apg last season. Yakhchali also played for Monkey Kings (Chinese CBA) in Chinese league where in 11 games he had very impressive stats: 16.1ppg, 5.2rpg, 3.2apg and 1.5spg.
He has been also a member of Iranian international program for some years. Yakhchali has regularly played for Iranian senior team since 2012 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2013.
He played at the WABA Club Championships last year.
Yakhchali has played also professionally for other Iranian teams like Petrochimi and Shahrekord. His team won Iranian Superleague Regular Season in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Among many awards Yakhchali received Asia-Basket.com All-Iranian Superleague Domestic Player of the Year award in 2014 and 2018.
