Iran Women's Basketball Super league is getting closer to its most exciting days with the winners Banovan Shahr Gorgan and Bahman Group Tehran finding their ways to the Finals.

In a best of three, Bahman group defeated Namino Isahan today in Tehran. Namino started with full power, leading until the third quarter 46-58, yet Saeede Elli (#6) and Delaram Vakili (#4) with 31 and 25 points, respectively, did not let Namino enjoy its sweet taste of win. Astonishing 20 Rebounds and 12 points for Golshid Omidian (#18) was the third pillar in shaping Bahman's winning triangle. In Namino, Mozhgan Khodadadi (#5) and Masoumeh Esmaeilzadeh (#17) scored 27 and 26 points, respectively. Bahman Group won the second game in a row, leaving no place for Namino to compensate.

In Gorgan, the weekend was even more exhilarating when the series ended with a 1 to 1 tie on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020. Palayesh Naft Abadan has Shayesteh Motesharrei, the Iran National Women's Head coach leading them. Despite the rocking day for Edna Eissayan (#99, Gorgan) with a double double with 15 points 29 rebounds, Yasaman Mohammadi (#10, Gorgan) and Shadi Abdolvand (#6, Gorgan) scoring 19 and 14 respectively, Naft won the game after 8 times of lead change and 5 times tied. The two powerful centers of Naft, Farzaneh Foroutanfard (#14) with 13 points, Elnaz Siahi (#15) with a double double of 17 points 17 rebounds and Nahide Asadi Aghdash with 21 points 11 rebounds were the great contributors to the win.

Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 the excitements continued as the game Gorgan vs. Palayesh Naft would define the second finalist team. 25 points of Shadi Abdolvand (#6), 15 rebounds of Sheida Shojaei (#9) and the another double double for Edna Eissayan (#99) with 17 points 15 rebounds, major role players in winning the game for Gorgan, would not undermine the amazing performance of Faeze Shahriari, 11 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and 8 fouls drawn.

In the losers table on the other side, the two teams Puzz Tehran and Avije Sanat Parsa Mashhad, winning their games on Friday, Feb. 14, became the two teams competing next week for 5th place. Marzieh Tondro (#8, Bandarabbas)30 points, Zahra Haghjoo (#16, Bandarabbad) with 24 points and 18 rebounds, Vaneh Khichumian (#15, Puzz) with 24 points and Zahra Gheis (#7, Puzz) with 11 points and 18 rebounds were the best of stats in the losers table.

The finals (best of three) for Iran Women's Basketball Super League would start next weekend, with Bahman Group, led by Farinaz Taherpour, against Banovan Shahr Gorgan, led by Nika Beiklikli in Gorgan, defining who takes home the amazing trophy of the 18th Series of Iran Women's Super League
