The most exciting game of round 16 in the Superleague took place in . This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked Mashad (3-11) to eighth ranked Pegah Tehran (3-11) 108-105 in the game for the seventh place. Pegah Tehran moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated Mashad.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Bandar Imam. First ranked Petrochimi faced 4th ranked Shahrdari Gorgan. Host Petrochimi (14-1) smashed guests from Gorgan (9-5) 101-50. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Shahrdari Gorgan. Petrochimi maintains first position with 14-1 record. Shahrdari Gorgan at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Tehran. Second ranked Chemidor faced one of their biggest challengers Naft Abadan. Host Chemidor (13-2) defeated guests from Abadan (11-3) 65-61. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Naft Abadan. Newly promoted Chemidor maintains second position with 13-2 record behind leader Petrochimi. Loser Naft Abadan keeps the third place with three games lost.

In the last game of round 16 Army was defeated by Zob Ahan in Esfahan 69-61.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Army's (4-10) road loss to fifth ranked Zob Ahan (7-7) 61-69 on Monday. Newly promoted Zob Ahan maintains fifth position with 7-7 record. Army lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with ten games lost.

Palayesh Naft Abadan defeated Shahrdari Gorgan in Game 4 and won the title of the Iran Basketball Super League in Abadan on Thursday.
