SO Pont de Cheruy Charvieu Chavanoz (NM2) agreed terms with 27-year old Iranian international swingman Navide Niktash (203-91). He is a dual citizen owning also French passport. Niktash played last season at Petrochimi in Iranian Superleague. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals.
The most of previous (2016-17) season Niktash spent at London Lions (BBL) in league where in 26 games he had 14.9ppg, 6.4rpg and 1.4apg. He also played for Norrkoping Dolphins (Basketligan) in league. But in two games he recorded just 1.5ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.5apg.
Niktash also played at the WABA Club Championships this year.
He has played previously for four other France teams: Le Mans, ADA Blois, Etoile Angers and Ouest Lyonnais.
