JAKARTA - An Iran side led by Hamed Haddadi (218-C-85) overwhelmed Korea, 80-68, on Thursday to advance to the gold-medal match of the 18th Asian Games men's basketball tournament at the GBK Istora.

Haddadi finished with 23 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, and four blocks while Mohammad Hassanzadeh had 18 points and 11 rebounds for Iran, which never trailed and led by as many as 19 points in their semifinal match.

Following its 91-82 win over the Philippines in the quarterfinals, Korea turned ice cold after going 4-of-14 from three-point land. The Koreans also shot just 21-of-53 from the field, and only had four offensive rebounds in the match.

In contrast, Iran dominated the boards, 47-27, including 21 offensive rebounds.

Ricardo Ratliffe had 37 points and 12 rebounds for Korea.

Zob Ahan Isfahan (Superleague) signed ex-international Reza Ranjbar. He begin 2018-19 season at Army team , now after one and half season in army team and finishing his military service he decided to join Zob Ahan for rest of the season. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Abadan. Third ranked Naft Abadan faced 4th placed Shahrdari Gorgan. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. Naft Abadan (5-1) recorded its first loss at the home court on Thursday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Chemidor (6-1) 57-52.
