Mike Harris
MIKE HARRIS

Petrochimi Bandar Imam Harbour (Superleague) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old American small forward Mike Harris (198-107kg-83, college: Rice). He started the season at Fujian Sturgeons in Chinese CBA league. In 38 games he had very impressive stats: 20.2ppg, 11.7rpg, 2.7apg and 1.5spg this season. The last summer Harris played at Leones in Puerto Rican BSN where in 24 games he was fifth best scorer with remarkable 19.5ppg and averaged 7.5rpg, 3.4apg and 1.3spg (in top 5). Good season as he was named League Player of the Week.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Harris won Chinese CBA championship title in 2016. He was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Player of the Year and Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Import Player of the Year in 2016.
Harris is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in four different countries. Harris tasted the life as pro basketball player in Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally also in Kuwait (Al Qadsia), Ukraine and NBA (Houston Rockets, Utah Jazz, Washington Wizards and Minnesota Timberwolves).
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Petrochimi.
Harris attended Rice University until 2005 and it is his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season as a professional player.
