The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Jakarta: Pelita Jaya (#1) and Satria Muda (#2). Pelita Jaya (18-2) won against visiting Satria Muda (15-5) 67-63. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Pelita Jaya made 12 blocks. Satria Muda's coach Djordje Jovicic tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Pelita Jaya maintains first place with 18-2 record. Very important is a road loss of third ranked Borneo (14-6) against fourth ranked Dewa United (14-6) on Saturday night. Visiting Borneo was defeated by Dewa United in a tough game in Tangerang 91-97. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Mexican center Joshua Ibarra (211-1995, college: HCU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 19 rebounds. Troy Gillenwater contributed with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American forward Travin Thibodeaux (203-1996, college: New Orleans) answered with 35 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for Borneo. Dewa United have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Borneo.

In the last two games of round 19 RANS PIK was crushed by Hangtuah in Jakarta 72-53. Dewa United beat Kesatria at home 101-91.



Dewa United - Borneo 97-91

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Borneo (14-6) against fourth ranked Dewa United (14-6) on Saturday night. Visiting Borneo was defeated by Dewa United in a tough game in Tangerang 91-97. Dewa United players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Mexican center Joshua Ibarra (211-1995, college: HCU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 19 rebounds. American forward Troy Gillenwater (205-1988, college: NM State) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American forward Travin Thibodeaux (203-1996, college: New Orleans) answered with 35 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and the other American import power forward Kaleb Wesson (208-1999, college: Ohio St.) added 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Borneo. Leader Pelita Jaya delivered the eighteenth victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 5th ranked Tangerang (10-10) 90-78 in Jakarta. Pelita Jaya dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Tangerang's 30. Pelita Jaya looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Darious Moten (202-1992, college: Mercer) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists.
