Leon Gilmore III (ex Serhedci) signs at Satya Wacana

Leon Gilmore III

Satya Wacana Salatiga (IBL) signed 30-year-old American 201cm power forward Leon Gilmore III, who played for Serhedci in the Azerbaijani ABL league. He took a break from professional basketball for one year.
Gilmore is a very experienced player. Thanks to pro basketball, he has experienced life in nine different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, and North American leagues. Gilmore has played professionally in Argentina (Lanus), Kosovo (Prizreni), Latvia (Jekabpils), Mexico (Ostioneros de Guaymas), Philippines (TNT Tropang), Puerto Rico (Capitanes), Qatar (Al Gharafa), and NBA G League (Texas Legends and Wisconsin Herd).
He won the NBA G League Central Division championship title in 2020, among many awards. He was also named to the Southland Conf. All-Tournament Team in 2017.
He graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2018 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball. Gilmore played for other colleges like Trinity Valley Community College and Creighton University.
