Best players of Indonesian IBL round 7 (by Hoops Agents)

American Kentrell Barkley (194-SF-1996, agency: Haylett Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for Kesatria Bengawan Solo and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 29-year old had a double-double of 29 points and 14 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Satya Wacana (#11, 0-7) with 37-point margin 99-62. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Kesatria maintains the 9th position in Indonesian IBL. The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 6 games and had just one victory. In the team's last game Barkley had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. It's his second year at Kesatria and it's hard to imagine this team without him. East Carolina University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Barkley is in league's top in points (9th best: 20.2ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 16.0rpg) and averages solid 3.0bpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American power forward Antonio Hester (199-PF-1990) of Rajawali Jakarta. Hester impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Rajawali lost that game 66-86 to league's leader Pelita Jaya (#1, 6-0). Rajawali is still in a red zone at 7th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-5 record. Hester is one of the most experienced players at Rajawali and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.3ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 12.3rpg and 4.9apg. University of Mobile alumni Hester played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

The third best performed player last round was American AJ Bramah (201-F-1999) of Elang Pacific Caesar Surabaya (#10). Bramah scored 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Bramah's great performance the Pacific Caesar lost 56-106 to the higher-ranked Satria Muda (#2, 6-1). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Pacific Caesar can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 6 games. Bramah has individually a great season in Indonesia. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 29.3ppg (best scorer) and assists with 5.2apg (8th best). He also has 2.8spg and a FGP of 51.5%.
