American Forward KJ Buffen (201-F-2000, agency: Diamond Sports) had an amazing evening in the last round for RANS Simba Bogor, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 21.
The 24-year old player was the main contributor (40 points, eight rebounds and five assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass Rajawali (#14, 2-22) with 44-point margin 115-71. Simba Bogor maintains the 3rd position in Indonesian IBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Simba Bogor will need more victories to improve their 18-6 record. In the team's last game Buffen had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Simba Bogor, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former University of Alabama at Birmingham star has very solid stats this year. Buffen is in league's top in points (5th best: 24.5ppg) and averages impressive 2.5spg and 57.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Quintin Dove (197-F-1998) of Rajawali Jakarta. Dove had a very good evening with 48 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Rajawali lost that game 71-115 to the higher-ranked Simba Bogor (#3, 18-6). Rajawali are still at the very bottom. 22 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Rajawali managed to get this year. Dove is one of the most experienced players at Rajawali and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 28.3ppg (#1). He also registered 6.5 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American Will Artino (211-C/F-1992) of Kesatria Bengawan Solo (#6). Artino showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, 19 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Kesatria BS, leading his team to a 94-84 win against the higher-ranked Simba Bogor (#3, 18-6). Kesatria BS needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 16 victories and 9 lost games. Artino has a great season in Indonesia. After 25 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.6rpg (3rd best). He also has 1.2bpg and a FGP of 58.6%.
