The Regular Season in IBL is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The biggest surprise of round 19 was guest Dewa United's (17-4) road victory over their biggest opponent Simba Bogor (16-5) 91-87 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Simba Bogor. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Dewa United forced 20 Simba Bogor turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Simba Bogor's players. American forward Jordan Adams (194-1994, college: UCLA) fired a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winners. Panamanian-Mexican center Joshua Ibarra (211-1995, college: HCU) chipped in 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Dewa United's coach Pablo Favarel used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American-Mexican forward Aaron Fuller (198-1989, college: USC, agency: Haylett Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds for lost side. Dewa United moved-up to second place. Simba Bogor at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. Dewa United are looking forward to face Kesatria BS (#5) in Jakarta in the next round. Simba Bogor will play on the road against Bima Perkasa in Sakti and is hoping to win this game.
Important game to mention about took place in Jakarta. Sixth ranked Kesatria BS (14-7) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 4th placed Satria Muda (16-6) 81-79 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Satria Muda. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Travin Thibodeaux (203-1996, college: New Orleans) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Will Artino contributed with 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Kesatria BS's coach Efri Meldi allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American point guard Randy Bell (193-1998, college: Dalton St.) answered with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for Satria Muda. Kesatria BS have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place. Satria Muda at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Kesatria BS will play against league's second-placed Dewa United in Tangerang in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Satria Muda's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Jakarta to the arena Pelita Jaya.

Tangerang's coach Antonius Endratmo used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Isaiah Briscoe responded with 46 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Tangerang maintains eighth place with 12-10 record. Borneo lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 13 games lost. Tangerang will meet Bali Utd. (#11) in the next round. Borneo will play against Prawira and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 19 Satya Wacana was defeated by Bali Utd. in Denpasar 76-69. Pacific Caesar beat Rajawali at home 99-91.



Bali Utd. - Satya Wacana 76-69

There was a minor upset in Denpasar where 11th ranked Satya Wacana (4-18) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Bali Utd. (5-18) 76-69 on Saturday. It was a great evening for American forward Bobby Arthur-Williams (201-1997, college: Pitt St., agency: Starting 5) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. American-Guyanese power forward Joshua Nurse (208-1997, college: SFC) helped adding 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks. At the losing side American guard Marquis Davison (196-2000, college: Columbus St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import forward KK Curry (201-2000, college: UT Martin, agency: JCK Sports Group) scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bali Utd. moved-up to eleventh place. Satya Wacana lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 18 games lost. Bali Utd. will meet at home higher ranked Tangerang (#8) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Satya Wacana will play against Hangtuah (#6) in Jakarta and hope to secure a win.

It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Satria Muda. They outrebounded Satria Muda 41-28 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Travin Thibodeaux (203-1996, college: New Orleans) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. American-Taiwanese power forward Will Artino (211-1992, college: Creighton) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. At the losing side American point guard Isaiah Briscoe (190-1996, college: Kentucky) responded with 46 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Nate Grimes (202-1996, college: Fresno St., agency: Diamond Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 21 rebounds. Tangerang maintains eighth place with 12-10 record. Borneo lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 13 games lost. Tangerang will meet Bali Utd. (#11) in the next round. Borneo will play against Prawira and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

No shocking result in a game in Surabaya where tenth ranked Pacific Caesar (8-15) defeated bottom-ranked Rajawali (2-20) 99-91 on Sunday. Pacific Caesar looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for American-Dominican forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists. Puerto Rican-Dominican guard Miguel Miranda (198-2001, college: National Park) helped adding 31 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Pacific Caesar's coach Dhimas Setiaputra used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American forward Quintin Dove (197-1998, college: UT Martin) responded with 40 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and the other American import swingman Eric Hancik (196-2000, college: NWOSU) scored 13 points and 5 assists. Pacific Caesar maintains tenth place with 8-15 record. Rajawali lost their third game in a row. They stay dead last with 20 lost games. Pacific Caesar will meet league's second-placed Dewa United in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rajawali will have a break next round.
