Peyton Whitted (ex Estepona) is a newcomer at Ostrava

Peyton Whitted

SBS Ostrava (ZBL) added to their roster 29-year old Indonesian-American power forward Peyton Whitted (190cm-1995, college: Penn State). She started the season at Estepona in Spanish LF Challenge. In 10 games she recorded 8.7ppg and 5.0rpg. The last season she played at Basket Namur Capitale in Belgian league. She also played 24 games in Belgian Top Division Women where she averaged 10.5ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.3apg. Whitted helped them to make it to the semifinals. Good season as she was named League Player of the Week (2 times).
She also represented Indonesia at the SEA Games for Women in Phnom Penh (Cambodia) two years ago. Whitted's team won Gold and she had 11 points per game.
Whitted is quite experienced player. She has played also professionally in Belgium, Greece (Niki Lefkadas and Dafni Agioy), Italy (Valdarno), Romania (ASC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe), Sweden (Sodertalje) and Turkey (Mersin).
Among many awards her team won Turkish TKBL Federation Cup in 2022. Whitted was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-SEA Games Honorable Mention in 2023.
She graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2017 and it is her eighth season as a professional player.
