Surabaya Fever - Fujitsu Red Wave 45-115

Fujitsu Red Wave stormed past Surabaya Fever for the opening win at the Women’s Basketball League Asia. Six players scored in double digits for the Japanese team. Saki Hayashi (173-G-1995) came up with 18 points for the winners.
Fujitsu recorded a 27-14 lead after ten minutes. The Red Wave followed with a 34-10 run in the second frame to secure a 61-24 halftime lead. Fujitsu went on a massive 54-21 second half run to ice the victory. Moeka Era (171-SG-1998) posted 16 points in the win. Hannah Little (186-F-1994, college: Oakland) replied with 14 points for Surabaya.
