Qualls' double-double lands him Player of the Week award

29-year old American guard Michael Qualls (197-G-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for Borneo Hornbills and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 31.
He had a double-double of 32 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed Hangtuah (#10, 8-15) with 28-point margin 103-75. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Borneo is placed at 9th position in Indonesian league. Borneo is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-14 record. In the team's last game Qualls had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Borneo, being already a very valuable addition to the team. The University of Arkansas graduate has very impressive stats this year. Qualls is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.2ppg. Qualls is in league's top in and averages solid 1.2bpg,2.3spg and 54.1% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Tyree Robinson (196-PF-1995) of Satya Wacana Salatiga. He is American forward in his first season at Satya Wacana. In the last game Robinson recorded an impressive double-double of 28 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Satya Wacana lost that game 83-102 to the higher-ranked Bali Utd. (#7, 12-11). Satya Wacana is still second from the bottom in the standings. 17 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories Satya Wacana managed to get this year. Robinson is one of the most experienced players at Satya Wacana and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.9ppg (#4). He also registered 10.1 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to center Tavario Miller (203-C-1994) of league's leader Dewa United Surabaya. Miller scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Dewa United, leading his team to a 116-85 easy win against #3 ranked Kesatria BS in a game of the week. Dewa United confirms their top position in the standings. Miller has a very solid season. In 23 games in Indonesia he scored 13.9ppg. He also has 9.0rpg and a FGP of 67.8%. Miller attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
